He attended Nashua schools and graduated from Nashua High School Class of 1947. Fred joined the Naval Reserves upon graduating from high school and went on to serve in the Reserves for several years. He joined the Public Service Company of New Hampshire in 1952 and through his 35 years with the company served as the District Manager for Milford, Nashua, and Manchester.
